Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the matter of complexity and parity with other ad platforms. I agree that simplicity and clarity is key, and that many advertisers have limited time and, even if they didn't, shouldn't be required to learn to navigate complex systems to get business done. I can also assure you that our platform engineering team is continuing to make simplicity of the product and forthcoming features a priority. Your comment helps reinforce it as a focus in design amongst us here, so thank you.
Simplicity and efficiency were key tenants for some updates earlier this year: http://advertise.bingads.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/33290/bing-ads-spring-releases-speed-simplicity-and-efficiency
And the focus of the all-new Accounts & Billing: http://advertise.bingads.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/34944/you-asked-we-listened-big-improvements-in-accounts-and-billing
There is still work to be done, and thank you for reaching out.
Bing Ads Editor globalizes the data based on your OS locale like other tools including Excel. So as per the local convention, period "." is treated as a separator and comma "," is treated as decimal point.
If you wish to use period as the decimal point, please consider switching to a different locale like en-US.
Hope this helps!
