How can we improve Bing Ads to create a better experience?

support free advertising for non profit 501(c)(3) organizations like google with its grant program

I feel Microsoft should support 501(c)(3) non profit organizations with free advertising search engine support like google does with its google grants program. as non profit organizations supporting the comunity should not have to pay to let people know the good they are doing in the community and to get support for thieer causes

        Hello Bing ads,

A grant program has been in "evaluation" for six years. We realize significant assistance from the other search engine for advertising the mission and positive contributions made nationwide. Spreading the word is often a challenge and a grant program would benefit many more people.

Please move forward with this grant program. We do appreciate the software side and couldn't do it without your assistance.

I Agree! I so appreciate Microsoft and all the support they give. I would love to see a non-profit program for advertising. Non-profits help to improve communities and give to people who otherwise may not receive the help they need. It is hard to survive on grant funding so we must self-sustain through advertising. It would help tremendously.

I agree but for an additional reason as well. I think that the non profits each have memberships many of which are very large. Microsoft could make as a condition of giving an ad subsidy that the non profit place on its website an acknowledgement of Bing's assistance with a hot linked logo that takes the users to Bing. That will get many searches that oterhwise Google would get.

Another variant is with the points system Bing is now giving. Amazon has a practice where they allow users to designate 501 (C) (3) non profits to receive a small percentage of the sale -- about 1/2 of 1 percent. What Bing can do is give advertising credits to qualified non profits for the points that their members accrue for searching with Bing. I am on the Board of a Non Profit and we asked all our members that if they were shopping anyway for something that the needed or wanted it, check out Amazon if if they buy something there--our org would get the benefit. This had been a nice source of revenue and I am sure we in turn have gotten Amazon additional sales. THere are many millions of google searchers out of habit who would not switch unles they had a reason to, and helping out their non profit would for many do the trick. The Amazon program is called Amazon Smile.

I am a long term Microsoft shareholder and it although Microsoft came late, the search service is just as good and in a few ways better. Let's get a bigger market share.

It makes no sense to me that this hasn't been addressed. There's no cost to them once it's set up.
There would be no lost revenue as none of us are selling a product. All our ads are strictly informational. I know that if Bill Gates and his wife were aware of this, it would have happened already. Hopefully, a moderator with a heart will escalate this topic. Gook luck to all.

I'm looking for the same thing... We use google globally and also pay for their advaned ad service in certain countries as well... We just ignored bing up to now, because there is no credits for non-profits

We are so grateful that Microsoft has helped our adoption agency with software donations in the past, however it is still disappointing that we are unable to afford promoting our service on what is the best search engine in my opinion.

I was looking for the same thing, I am actually surprised that MS is not doing this already. Hopefully they will consider helping non-profits that qualify in such a great manor.

Agreed. Surely Microsoft can afford to allocate at least a small amount of free advertising to qualified nonprofit organizations. It's a tax write-off for MS and it allows savvy volunteers to help local nonprofits in a huge way.

I hope someone sees this thread and considers the idea.

Does anyone know if Bing has plans to ad this feature. We are seeing great success with our Google Adwords campaigns. It seems odd that Bing doesn't offer the same thing.

I think it's wonderful that companies such as google contribute the charitable missions by making available a grant program. what about Bing?

It would be great to see a Microsoft Grants programme to give free advertising support to UK (and worldwide) charitable organisations.
